Fog
covers the brightest sun,
cloths the clearest sky,
clouds the starry night.
It misguides, misjudges, misinterprets, misunderstands.
It conspires with darkness,
and makes shadows real.
In time, we forget
that behind the fog lies
the brightest sun,
the clearest sky,
the starry night,
and that they never left.
